about

This Track almost made it onto the full length but at the end of the day there were just other songs that fit better. We really didn't want to just scrap it though (especially Wayne) so we recorded it for this E.P.

lyrics

people say it's adventure
people say it's the concept of the roll
as for me i'm an anchor
always keeping an eye on the distant shore

like a roman embrace
you build a kingdom up just to watch it fall
i never forget a face
born in raised up in nineteen eighty-four

hush hush keep it quiet
hush hush keep away from that open door
mother called me a liar
but i swear to you i've seen him here before

so tell me why's it been so long
i'm just around the corner
as summer sings it's final song
you spread your wings
so tell me why's it been so long
i'm just around the corner
as summer sings it's final song
i know it's over

and now it's over
